America’s talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, accused for not warning the British actress Kadian Noble about Harvey Weinstein’s sexual deviancy.
It is not just that she didn’t warn her, but she actually persuaded her to talk to Weinstein in order to “advance her career”.
The actress claims that Oprah assured her she can trust him and even made praising arguments on behalf of the serial killer and sexual molester. The former supermodel Naomi Campbell helped Oprah in her lies, despite knowing that he would try to sexually molest the actress if they met in private.
Noble filed a lawsuit in which she accuses The Weinstein Company of violating sex trafficking laws. She said that they were “benefiting from, and knowingly facilitating, the venture in which Harvey Weinstein traveled in foreign commerce to recruit or entice female actors into forced or coerced sexual encounters on the promise of roles.”
She also said that he was doing that with the help of our “women’s rights” champion Oprah Winfrey.
From ABC report that the actress claims she was assaulted by Harvey Weinstein in a hotel room in Cannes, for which she filed a lawsuit.
They say that she described through tears, how Harvey Weinstein made her stand in front of a bathroom mirror and forced her to perform a sex act while pretending to be interested in her career, on a Tuesday back in 2014.
Noble is just one drop in the ocean. She is the 86the woman to publically accuse the movie producer of sexual assault. But she’s not just filing a suit for the assault against her, she is going after him for alleged sex trafficking accusations.
As the British actress says in her lawsuit it was “common practice” of Weinstein and “well-known” to his brother Bob Weinstein that Harvey Weinstein often travelled abroad to lure in, young female actresses with promises of film roles, and then he used force, fraud or coercion to engage them in sex. Noble wants him investigated under U.S sex trafficking laws.
She addressed him directly at a press conference today, saying:
“You completely misused the gift that you have, to create magic in this world, to absolutely take advantage of people.”
According to her statement, back in 2014 Harvey Weinstein asked her to come to his hotel room in Cannes, “to review her reel with her and discuss further steps in securing the role he had previously targeted for her” but once she got there, he “began massaging Kadian and then gripped her shoulders.” After that he told her to walk up and down the room, which she did, because he said it was for audition purposes.
Then, he allegedly made a call to an unnamed Weinstein Company producer in the United States who talked directly to Noble and said to her that she needed to be “a good girl and do whatever he wished,” and if she did, then “they would work” with her further, stated the lawsuit.
After the phone call Harvey Weinstein pulled her closer and groped her breasts, to which she gave resistance yelling “No, Harvey, no,” the law suit says. At the same time she felt forced to comply with his demands because her career advancement depended on him.
Allegedly, she was then pulled to the bathroom by Weinstein who told her to relax as he was gripping her firmly. According to the lawsuit he then started to rub her breasts and buttocks, when she told him to stop and tried to leave the bathroom, but Weinstein blocked her exit. He pulled down her shirt and forced his legs between hers, rubbing her genitals and began masturbating, the suit said.
The actress gave one more attempt to convince him to stop and tried to struggle physically in order to escape. But Weinstein continued to sexually assault her, according to the suit.
Harvey Weinstein’s representative said in his statement “Mr. Weinstein denies allegations of non-consensual sex. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances.”
On the ABC News’ request for comment, there was no response neither from Bob Weinstein nor The Weinstein Company.
Annabella Sciorra and Daryl Hannah have collected dozens of accusations against Harvey Weinstein.
Umma Thurman, condemned his disgusting act in emotional post saying: ‘You don’t deserve a bullet’
Most of the people in Hollywood knew what kind of man Weinstein was, it was sort of a public secret that everybody kept. Even his own company was fully aware of his little habits and made him sign a contract, in which he was obliged to pay his company a fine every time he was accused of sexual assault.
What this man has been doing all these years, and the fact that there were so many people who covered it up, makes people sick to their very core. People like Harvey Weinstein reflect the worst in our humanity and their deeds should not go unpunished.
